Compare the whole supplier offer, not just the lowest number.
Bring supplier prices, quantities, lead times, remarks, and documents into one side-by-side view. Use L1/L2/L3 price ranks as a signal, then make the commercial decision with context intact.
A price column alone does not explain an offer.
The lowest price can come with a quantity constraint, unsuitable lead time, an exception in the remarks, or a missing document.
Copying numbers into a sheet can leave commercial notes and source documents behind.
One supplier may lead on one item while another is more competitive on the rest.
Quality, reliability, delivery, fit, and total cost still require buyer evaluation.
Move from quotations to a decision-ready comparison.
AuraVMS retains each supplier’s response while aligning the fields needed to compare it.
Align
Responses arrive against the same RFQ items and commercial fields.
Rank
Prices are labelled L1, L2, L3, and onward at the relevant comparison level.
Review
Check available quantity, lead time, remarks, and supporting quotation files.
Select
Choose the appropriate quotation, capture negotiated context, and place the order.

One view, with the source details still attached.
The price rank accelerates scanning; the rest of the response helps the buyer decide whether that price is commercially workable.
- Comparable supplier price lines
- Available quantity and expected lead time
- Supplier remarks and uploaded quotations
- A visible path from response to order decision
Answers before you shortlist.
What do L1, L2, and L3 mean in quote comparison?
They are price ranks: L1 is the lowest quoted price, L2 is the second lowest, and L3 is the third lowest for the compared line or offer context.
Does AuraVMS automatically choose a supplier?
No. It organizes comparable data and ranks prices, but the buyer decides based on price and other relevant commercial or supplier considerations.
Can I compare lead time and quantity as well as price?
Yes. Supplier responses can include available quantity, lead time, remarks, and supporting documents alongside price.
Is supplier quote comparison the same as RFP scoring?
No. Quote comparison is usually price- and terms-led. Complex RFP scoring may require questionnaires, evaluators, weights, and governance that AuraVMS does not claim as a standard RFQ feature.
