AI connector
AuraVMS in Claude and ChatGPT
Manage suppliers, send RFQs, compare quotes and place purchase orders by asking your AI assistant. It works with your existing AuraVMS workspace and permissions.
Before you start
You need an AuraVMS account with an active plan or trial. Sign up at app.auravms.com.
Connect in Claude
- 1Open Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, and find AuraVMS in the directory. Or choose Add custom connector and paste the server URL below.
- 2Click Connect. You are sent to AuraVMS; sign in if asked.
- 3Review what Claude will be able to do and click Allow. You return to Claude, connected.

- 1In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors and search for AuraVMS. Until the listing is live, enable Developer mode under Advanced and create a connector with the server URL above.
- 2Sign in to AuraVMS and click Allow.
- 3Start a chat and ask for AuraVMS, or pick it from the tools menu.

- “Which suppliers do we have for packaging?”
- “Create an RFQ for 500 kg of 2 mm cold-rolled steel, due 15 November, and invite our steel suppliers.”
- “Compare the quotes on our Q4 production materials RFQ and tell me the cheapest supplier for each item.”
- “Remind every supplier who hasn’t quoted on the Q4 RFQ yet.”
- “Place the order for the M8 bolts with the lowest quote.”
What the assistant can do

Tools that email a supplier, place an order or close an RFQ are labelled as such to Claude and ChatGPT. To review each one before it runs, set it to Needs approval in Claude under Settings → Connectors → AuraVMS. The connector cannot change billing, team members or organization settings.
Disconnect
Remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT, or revoke its key under Settings → API Keys in AuraVMS (it is named after the assistant, for example “Claude (AI connector)”). A revoked key stops working immediately.
Privacy and support
The assistant sends AuraVMS only the requests needed to run a tool, using a key scoped to your workspace; AuraVMS never sees your password or your other conversations. See the privacy policy. Questions: dhrumil@auravms.com.
