Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Minimum order quantity (MOQ) is the smallest quantity a supplier is willing to sell in one order, production run, or price tier. A low unit price can produce a higher total commitment when its MOQ exceeds the buyer's actual requirement.
Buyers should compare MOQ with required quantity, storage capacity, demand risk, shelf life, and price breaks. In a quotation comparison, MOQ or available quantity should remain visible beside price and lead time rather than being evaluated separately.
