Procurement Savings Benchmark
A procurement savings benchmark is a reference point used to compare sourcing or purchasing performance across time, categories, business units, or peer groups. Examples include savings as a percentage of addressable spend, negotiated savings, cost avoidance, and realized savings after purchase.
Benchmarks are only meaningful when the organization defines the baseline, eligible spend, measurement period, currency treatment, and validation method. Published peer averages should not be treated as guaranteed outcomes. AuraVMS provides structured RFQ and quotation data that teams can export or analyze; it does not guarantee a savings percentage.
