Supplier Quotation Evaluation

Supplier quotation evaluation is the assessment of supplier offers against the commercial and operational requirements of an RFQ. Evaluation normally begins with comparable prices but should also consider quantity coverage, lead time, specification compliance, quality evidence, payment terms, risk, and supplier reliability.

Price ranks such as L1, L2, and L3 make the price position visible. They do not prove which offer has the best total value. The buyer should document material trade-offs and the reason for the final selection.
